Welcome to my Panda Archive for Mei Xiang and Tian Tian. They are the
First Couple of the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington D.C. Mei Xiang("Beautiful Fragrance"in
Chinese)is the three year old Female Panda. She is differentiated by her round face,
oval shaped eyes, and leg stockings. Tian Tian("More and More")is the Four year old male
Panda. He is approximately 60 pounds more than Mei. Other than his larger size he
can be differentiated by his kidney shaped eyes, his socks, and his dirty rear end(LOL! Not really!)
He is cream colored there.
I have been fortunate to have been there twice to see them, and capture their beauty and specialness
on still camera and video. This site is for all of you to enjoy and is dedicated to two
of these Beautiful Endangered Animals. May they and others like them Live FOREVER!
